Missouri and St. Louis Animal Regulations

Although there are animal regulations in place, they are very weak in Missouri and often not enforced. If you would like to help work on changing our laws to make them stronger and sentences for abuse and neglect harsher, please join Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation. We need stiffer penalties to eliminate backyard breeding, and stronger mandates for spaying & neutering! We need to be the voice for animals in our community. Rescues and shelters cannot continue at the frantic pace they are, to clean up the messes of those that simply do not care.

“Humanity's true moral test, its fundamental test…consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals.”
~ Milan Kundera

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
~ Margaret Mead
