The Ferguson Animal Coalition
is a 501c3 non-profit organization (donations are always appreciated) and founded by a group of long-time animal rescue volunteers in the St. Louis area, to provide a structure around the volunteer work that they have already been doing. Our main mission is to help keep dogs and cats off the streets, keep them from ending up at overcrowded shelters and help them stay in good homes. We provide owners with connections to low cost spay & neuter programs oftentimes assisting with funding, share tools to help keep their pets safe, healthy, and happy. And pay for vetting for many other situations. We repair fences or put up temporary fences to keep dogs from roaming the dangerous streets, provide dog and cat food to those that need help, offer FREE pet ID tags (partnering with local SoulCraft wood shop), provide much needed education about behaviors that are frustrating owners, and offer enrichment tools to help keep dogs in homes and out of trouble. And lastly, we share information about TNR (Trap Neuter Release) programs for feral cats in Ferguson.
