STOP THE SHOCK!
Shock collars, otherwise known as e-collars have been banned in 12 countries around the world, but unfortunately are still permitted in the United States. Also an important thing to note is that the American Veterinary Medical Association and also the American Veterinary Medical Behavior Association do NOT condone the use of shock collars, for any behavior including and especially treatment for aggression.

They have arrived at this conclusion due to many studies that have proven that the use of adverse training methods, including shock or e-collars do damage to the dog and cause significant unwanted behavior issues in the long run.  You can see for yourselves by visiting the links below.

If I had a dollar for every phone call I have received through the years, from owners asking for help on how to undo damage that shock collar training did to their dog, I would have a good chunk of money.  Damage like the dogs randomly becoming aggressive towards their humans, or fear issues such as fear of going outside to go potty. Once damage has been done, it is very hard to undo the damage.

~ Milan Kundera

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
